Visas and contracts
Book from anywhere. Choose your room, sign your contract online and pay one weeks advanced rent to secure it. We don't hold a large security deposit so there are no large bills before you arrive.
Your visa. For visa questions, your university's international student team and GOV.UK are the places to go. If your visa is refused, our No visa, no pay policy means you can cancel your booking and get your deposit returned to you.
Your contract. Choose 51 weeks, so you can stay over the summer, or 44 weeks on most room types. Both start on Saturday 11 September 2027, and the weekly rent is the same whichever you pick.
Paying and guarantors. Pay in full and you won't need a guarantor. To pay termly or monthly, you'll need one, and if you don't have a guarantor in the UK, our guarantor partner, can act for you. Before you move in, we'll carry out a Right to Rent check and let you know what we need from you.

FAQs
Still have a question? Check out our dedicated FAQs page, alternatively member of the domo team would be happy to help you.
Your room comes furnished with a bed, desk and chair, wardrobe, and storage. A full inventory of your room and its condition will be provided at check-in — you'll have 48 hours to review and accept it or note any discrepancies. If we don't hear from you within that time, you'll be deemed to have accepted the inventory as it stands.
Every room comes fully furnished with a bed, desk and chair, wardrobe, and storage. Bedding (with the exception of a mattress cover) and loose items are not provided. All utility bills, superfast Wi-Fi, weekly laundry credits and access to communal amenities are included in your rent — so there are no surprise costs once you're settled in.
We'll always do our best to accommodate preferences — whether that's around course, gender, or lifestyle. Due to GDPR, we're unable to share personal details about other residents, but feel free to let us know your preferences at the time of booking and we'll try to match these where we can.
Life at Domo is about more than just a place to sleep. We run a programme of events throughout the year — from social evenings and study sessions to wellness activities and seasonal celebrations. We aim to have at least two events a week during your stay ranging from small run clubs or coffee mornings to larger events like welcome week or Halloween parties.
Yes, we do accept international guarantors but they will be subject to vetting by us and they will need to pass affordability checks before being approved.
Our No Visa, No Pay policy covers international students who are unable to secure the required visa to study in the UK. You must cancel within 48 hours of being made aware you do not have a visa, with written evidence of refusal from the Home Office. A full refund will be issued, provided you completed all required steps of your visa application and the refusal was due to ineligibility rather than an incomplete application.
Absolutely. We offer virtual viewings for students who aren't able to visit in person. Please book a virtual viewing here.
